Sledding

Today, me and my dad and my sister went sledding, but I didn't want to go sledding because all of the children were turning around and sledding backwards and some children had made a bump and they were riding and then when they got to the bump they turned around and BOOM! the sled flipped over and they fell onto the snow and the sled fell over them.

So my sister and my dad went on the sled. When they got almost to the bottom they turned halfway around and then stopped. Then the sled tipped over but didn't flip all the way. Then they went again and this time it was a bumpy ride. They turned completely around, then rode backwards and then they bumped.

The next time I ran after them as they were going down and then they just stopped. My dad pushed the sled so that they would keep going. Then when he got stuck, I pushed him. The next time was almost the same except that when I pushed them, they took off themsleves.

Then we went home. I was shouting, "He's going for it! He's going for it! BOOM!"

I forgot to tell you, my dad was pulling my sister in the sled almost all the time. I felt unlucky, but when my sister went in the sled to the car, I was throwing snowballs at her. One time, I threw one and it burst into pieces. Since I was running so fast, some of the pieces went into my eyes. I think I earned that. Then I wiped the snow off my sister and we went home.

Funny Bus Ride

Me and Anthony were on the bus. We were sitting together. E.J. was sitting behind us. Then Anthony moved to a different seat but forgot his backpack. He asked me where it was. I said I didn't know, and I didn't! Then he asked E.J. E.J. pointed under my seat, but Anthony looked over my seat.

"My mom is going to kill me!", he pretend-yelled.

Then he started pretending to cry. I picked up his backpack and said, "Anthony! Anthony! Anthony!" Then he said, "What?"

"Ah, excuse me.", I said while I dangled his backpack from my fingers. Anthony turned and looked. He jumped and grabbed his backpack from my hands. "Bad Andres!", he said, slapping me gently on the cheek. Then I did the same to him (but I didn't call him Andres) and we laughed.

Funny Nightmare

Once I dreamed scary and funny dreams. The first three were scary. They were these:

Once me and my dad went to Church. He left me on the road but that was ok, because only one car came each hour. And I pretended I was falling and grabbed onto a daisy (which was the only thing to grab onto). Suddenly the road actually became a ramp and I was calling my daddy but he didn't hear me. Then, because I knew it was a dream, I tried to think of another dream which took me to a dream that seemed to be good.

I was walking out my front door (this is a short story) and saw Luke, one of my friends. Then I went to put my shoes away but when I turned around I saw that Luke had become a dinosaur! And he ate me. Just when he set his jaws on me, I tried to think of a different dream.

It was like channels on a TV. I had to go dream to dream to dream. In one, my sister was Dracula, which is a little funny. But not the next dream! The next dream I woke up, well, sorta, and this guy who looked like my daddy put me in a cage! Then he tore off a mask, and put me in this passport thingie. Then I saw where it led to -- FIRE!! I quickly changed the dream to the two dreams that are funny.

My first dream was where me, my dad, and my sister were goblins. Then I went upstairs and I saw that my mommy was a toilet! After a while, I started getting freaked out, so I changed the dream.

In my next dream, I was going shopping with my dad and my dad accidentally left me when he got in the car! I saw a machine calling my name. I had had this dream before and I knew what the machine would do, but I wanted to wake up and the only way to wake myself up when I'm dreaming is to freak myself out. So I went up to the machine. When it ate me I turned into a hamburger! Then I laughed myself awake. That was a joke.

Voyage of the Blue Waves

Once I had a dream and it was so exciting I wanted to write it in my blog. It goes like this.

I was sailing on a pirate ship, but then the pirates shot me out of a cannon and I fell on a dolphin that carried me to shore.

Then I forgot what the rest was, so I invented the rest.



There was a rustle in the trees and I thought that it was something like a bear, so I ran back into the ocean. But I ran too deep and I felt something under me. It was a shark! Then I jumped off of the shark and onto another dolphin and it carried me away. I jumped back on the ship when the dophin got close to it, but the pirates threw me off and I landed on another shark! This time there were no dophins around so I just woke up from the fright of what would happen next.

Another day of success

One day, I went into the blue slide of my school playground and hid in it until the bell rang. I was hiding in it because I didn't want Anthony to see me, and Tierny kept tricking Anthony that I was in other places like the grassy field or the structure.

Well, today was a funner day. We zoomed and zigged and zagged all around. It started when I (and Anthony) did not know what to play, so we (I) started playing Chase. Well, I think that you are now thinking that I was chasing him. Actually he was chasing me. I hid (in a tube) to get away from Anthony, and Anthony was looking for me and looking for me and then Zack and Cydnee-with-a-C joined in and we all had it figured out. Cydnee was Watch, Zack was half Watch/half Runner, I was Runner, and Anthony was Chaser. So the game began.

Cydnee was saying things like, "Coast is clear" and "Move to the left, Anthony is on the right" and "Zack, you're not Watch; I am!" And after a minute passed we ran under the structure and that is when Dakota and Gregory and Will joined in, and they were all Runners. We ran behind the big wall. That's where we... nearly... got caught. Anthony went to peek around one side of the wall; we ran to the other side of the wall. Then he peeked around the other side of the wall; we ran to the other side of the wall. And then he ran to our side of the wall. Some of us -- Dakota, Gregory, Zack -- went behind a littler wall and they weren't so lucky because Anthony knows that when some people are running away and they're at the wall, the first place he should look is behind the little wall. So Dakota, Gregory and Zack were chased. But Dakota climbed up the blue slide along with Gregory, and Zack stayed down. Zack was running and running until they came to the structure and Zack did a quick turn and went behind the structure. And then we went back to the tube where we had started and one minute after we got into the tube, the bell rang and the chase was over.
